Last apocalyptic sunset of 2020, the sun melting into the vog along the horizon. 2020 ended with a bang, planets crossing in the final weeks, earthquakes and the volcano waking back up, cloaking the southwest side of the island in a thick haze, diffusing the sunlight. How hopeful we were last year passing “2020 vision” messages around at New Years. The future is...opaque, yet we are walking into this year alongside our global family, full of gratitude, hope and stubborn persistence for the opportunity to be alive.
